I have an 1982 Bronco that I wish to do a frame off rebuild on.It has a 351-W mated to a C-6 Trans. As for the body,it needs help.I have rust in both rear quarters but, I have found replacements through LMC Truck. The tailgate will have to be tossed as well.I have a replacement for it as well.My question is,I want to have the under side as well as the interior sprayed with Rhino-Lining.Is this a good idea? Will it add more weight to the truck or, is weight really an issue? Also,I want to lose the rear seat and swap in some buckets similar to or better than what is in the front.Maybe even Recaros all the way(front and back). Is there a clearance problem by lowering the rear floor pan to make buckets work in the second row?Would a body lift help in this situation? One other thing,I have an aftermarket steering wheel. The original wheel had cruise control on the wheel. Can I buy an aftermarket cruise/turn signal stem to put in place of the turn signal stem that is there now? It's broken on the left turn side right now and I need to swap it.I know the wires for the cruise are still inside the column.Any Help is greatly appreciated.P.S. I did get the trans problem solved. Thanks for the tips. This is a great site.Keep up the good work!!

Using a bedliner on the interior is a great mod, and it shouldn't add much weight. Best results are from prof.-applied shops like Rhino or Line-X, but expect to pay $500-$600. You could also do it yourself with the special spray gun from a paint suppyl co. like Eastwood, or the cheapest would be Herculiner or Dupli-Color roll-on liner. I did my interior with Herculiner, JSM84

i would say rhin line-type stuff would be great, the only thing about teh underside would be not to spray it where it would be again something else, if that makes since. the friction could brake down what you sprayed and it would cause a loose connection there and could cause problems later.
