1979 to 1986???????

ok i have a nother queastion for you guys.

i have a 1985 bronco and i have a freebee 1979 bronco (junk). ok what i want to kno is can i take the stock front front springs ,springtowers,controlarms.front axel,out of the 79 and put it in to the 85 with not much modifacations, and with basic tools?because if i cane do this i willn save $3000.00 on a converson kit thanks

Yes you can. you'll need lifted 78/79 coils. search fourm for SAS swap there have been a few lately that has in it all info needed to do.

Also if the 79 has a NP205 tcaseb in can be swapped in the 85 for a much stronger unit.

rearend will swap in 85 too

swap the bodies & leave the frame intact, the 79 frame is way stronger. my 2 cents >-

i would but a tree fell on it. and the body is smashed and the frame is bent . but is still runs and drives.( the tree waz so big that i couldent wrap my arms around it)
