1979 Bronco Fuel

Hey the tank on my bronco i just got seems to be really tiny, maybe 19 max....

i was doing some searching on the swaps and found a parts list on JBG, but all prices have changed or am i looking at wrong things?

how hard would it be to swap the 19(or what ever it is) to the big 33..

i search JBG this is what i find.

33 Gallon Steel Gas Tank Item # 20203 $105.00

Skid Plate 33 Gallon Item # 20254 $115.00

Tank Strap, Upper Item # 20250 $15.00

Sending Unit Lock Ring $7.00

OEM 33 Gallon Sending Unit 1978-79 Bronco 125.00

367 seems to be a bit high on a new gas tank? but would be worth it alot more miles out of the 400.

Or would the plastic

33 Gallon Tank, 1978 - 79 Plastic one be better, and do i need the emissions hole or not?

what things am i missing?where can i get diff parts cheaper?

who made this skid plate below? and anyone else make them and how much?

i made one out of steel diamond plate just like that,just go to your local fabricator with a brake that will bend thick steel or aluminum and copy what's on that pic.

aluminum diamond plate is some expensive stuff,but light weight and pretty

Just a short note on the emissions hole. If your truck has an evaporative emissions system, (he plastic canister on the right side of the engine compartment with a hookup to the carb), yes. If it has that, then there is a small tubing system back to the tank.

As far as price of parts, that is about what I would expect for those parts no matter where you look.
