did anybone else see the 2009 bronco? this may be old news to some of you, but i just found out about it. i felt i had to express my anger in ford. and for that matter all the other motor companies that try to bring back cars and trucks that were put to rest. for instance the charger. resembles it, but in my opinion is "just not right". same thing goes for all the other resurections. if you haven't seen or heard of the new bronco yet...look it up. my opinion is that it is ugly. i seen a full glass roof on that poor thing. that along with other things. i just can't stand the way they are ruining the legacies these cars and trucks had left behind. true, nothing will change the past. but at least if your going to bring back the bronco. make it worth it. not some ***** fuel efficient POS, that is made for todays world. unfortunatly, the bronco just needs to rest.

there you go...that was me venting some of my anger and frustration

have a nice day.

unfortunately....yes that is what im talking about. like i said though. it was only my opinions. i just don't think they should be bringing back a peice of history like the bronco. and not have it be half as good. here is a link to check out all the bogus stuff they're dropping into this new bronco.

http://media.ford.com/newsroom/feature_dis...m?release=16642

hope you like it. i know i sure don't.

Thats horrible. I kinda like the look but they are doing it for all the wrong reasons. I doubt it will even make it to production line. They are trying to revive all the classic names but every model falls just a little short of its earlier model. I'm only 28 but muscle cars and older trucks have always been a passion of mine and every time I see them bring back a name that was used before it just looks worse for the auto manufactors. Case in point: have you ever seen Chevy's last remake of a Nova?? It was a 4 door gas-saver!!!! I might not be all knowing but when i think Nova the last thing that comes to mind is Gas saver. Sorry.....just blowing off some steam.

I would be scared to take it on a dirt road. If they're going to make another Bronco you MUST have a removable hard top too! No exceptions to that one or it's just not a Bronco!

i thought i read somewhere that it does have a removable top. either way though. the two piece glass roof needs to go. its been made into a street truck. SUV or whatever you want to call that thing. yes it does sorta resemble a bronco. but it doesn't deserve the name in my eyes. and whats up with that ugly grill? how does it get enough air into the radiator to cool itself? oh wait. yeah thats it....it actually has to have a decent sized engine for that to matter. its so small it doesn't even get hot i bet. makes me sick to know that ford is going to do that. what it is though is all the new, younger designers of todays world. they are ruining these old cars and trucks legacies. they just don't have a clue. they're sitting in a chair and say hey......we're going to bring back the bronco...challenger....etc. and with it being todays world. with all the laws and crap. and the lack of vehicles made with something other than plastic. most turn out like shit. for example...the new GTO. ***!!!?? it looks like a beefed up grand prix with a bigger engine. we need to face facts though...no matter what we do. there are still going to be clueless designers that bring back these vehicles. can't do anything about it. except maybe see a phsycologist. it make my blood boil.

Its kinda sux that they would do this to the Bronco, engine size lacking, whatever. I will be the first in line to buy one. Then I will decide if I like it or not. Maybe SVT will get ahold of it. Looks like a little Land Rover or something.

I believe they should do what they always did when building the bronco. Make the front the exact same as an f150 and have almost all the same componets. It may just be me but i think a bronco looking like the new f150 jacked up on some 35s would be sweet.

I can see the resemblance to the original Bronco style, but it also looks freakishly similar to the H3. I believe this concept was first unveiled before the H3'***** the market, but the resemblance is there none the less. Ford is obviously not going after our market with this car. Yes, I meant to call it a car. It seems more geared toward the Scion/Honda market. Give it a name other than Bronco and I think it would deserve the share of the market that it obviously will get. Ford did such a great job with its other retro vehicles (the Thunderbird, and the Mustang) it would be a shame to ruin that track record by building a Bronco that you can not take wheelin right of the showroom floor. Give it a frame and two solid axles and I would consider buying one.

But, like I always say, "Too each, his own." If you like it buy it. (if they ever hit the dealerships)

Hey! I just had a great idea. :D If Ford insists on a economy-retro-pony, they should bring back my old Pinto!

Photos taken circa 1987. Man, I miss that old car! B)

The new bronco is going to be diesel so I'm impressed. I'm still a fan of the solid axle big broncos.

What I hope for is that this new Bronco will be the EB, and it will evolve into a Big Bronco. That would be cool

I agree with cocobum the way they made this thing if that is what you would call it looks like they are trying to make it look a box a hummer for instance. They should keep it like the f series pickups. With a nice lift man that thing would look sweet not like " I don't know what to call that" lol

On the surface I would have to agree with most of the comments on newer vehicles bringing back old name plates, as it is disappointing to say the least going to see the latest & greatest the industry has to offer & come home happy I don't own anything newer than 17 years old.

BUT

I'VE SEEN IT! I WANT IT! NOW!!!!

Yes it will be a couple years before the aftermarket will catch up with pieces & parts but this has REAL POTENTIAL
