After the wiring problem has been fixed and it charges the battery 3 new things arise.
I am just destined to turn this truck into scrap metal.
The mechanic who fixed the wiring says a lifter in the engine is bad. Not sure what all that does to the integrity of the engine. How long should i wait to get it fixed?
I drive the beast (i use that term loosely) today and try to get it on the highway for a few exits to see how much guts it has. The car has little acceleration and poor torque. Is this common on all 2.8's? Then when i park it i notice that there is smoke from the carb. It looks like the oil leak is causing this plus the strain on the engine.
Then on my way home i take the back way. After turning right its starts to shake like it is out of alignment then after a little bit it pops and then is fine..
Is this thing possessed?
I need some advise. How much should i put in this? I just lost my job and dont have the stress capacity to deal with it. I need some help.
Thanks again for hearing my fustration..
Sorry for the need to vent.
