So I put the top and doors back on the bronco this weekend and the rear window would not go up. I could here the motor trying to work so I figured it just needed lubed well I took the window out and lubed every thing and works great now. but I cant figure out how the handle linkage goes. ok I have the one that hooks the the both sides and the one that goes to the handle but the one that comes off the bottom and looks like it should connect somewere in the tailgate thats the one I need. I can attach pics when I get home today if that helps.

Thanks

If you ask me, that is the most useless appendage of that mechanism. It is usually rusted so it doesn't even operate properly. I think Ford wanted to make the mechanism FOOL proof, thinking the average owner couldn't figure out when it was safe to open the gate. That along with the latch switch which is a problem when servicing the window can be removed with no operational effects.

Good luck,

:)>-
