Hey everyone thanks for taking time to read this. I went wheeling about a month ago. I got stuck with the engine submersed for about a hour before I was pulled out. I have done a tune up Air filter, Change oil, plugs& wires, cap , button, O2 sensor. I know I have a exhaust leak but I can't believe That leak would cause my problems Any help will be appreciated

An exhaust leak before your O2 sensor could cause it to run rich.

Bad idle is often IAC, but before you go changing parts, pull codes.

Here is a tutorial on how to pull codes if you have never done it before.

BTW... if your engine was underwater... did you change its oil, and that of your trans?, or at least makesure that no water got in there?

I did change the oil, I replaced all filters except the fuel, I installed new plugs and wires. I have not change the trans. fluid, I am as soon as I fix the horrible Idle. The exhaust leak is after the only cat. But I plan on replacing the exhaust system once I install the GT-40 heads. So what is IAC? and where can I locate the IAC? thank you for your time and help

IAC stands for Idle air control valve, you can search for it at

www.fordfuelinjection.com

But... unless you just want to throw parts at it, you should pull diagnostic codes.
