I need to replace the radiator in my '93 bronco. If my stock radiator has a 1 1/4" core size can I replace it with a 2" core size?

To the best of my knowledge thay all have built in tranny coolers, that's how it was designed from the factory. Granted a larger cross-section radiator should also provide better tranny cooling.
