I was thinking about a pair of headers. Most likely going with these pair http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowtech/387/12502/10002/-1

But as I notice that most, if not every pair of headers I researched through had that same triangle like pattern where end piece fits onto the exhaust tubing. As I look under my 1994 5.0 stock bronco it appears to have a different pattern. So my question is how do you modify my exhaust tubing to incorporate this pattern and is there any other modifications must I do to put these babies on?

From what I hear threw the grape vine Bronco's don't do well with long tube headers. Also, the ones you have on there don't have the EGR tube in them and your 94 will need that unless you're going with a carb set up. If you want a direct replacement basically you'll need a set of "shorty" style headers. You seem to be looking at the flowtech and these are what I run: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku

They're easy to install, well, sort of. Take old maniolds off, take off EGR tube and put on headers, instal headers and bolt up exhaust to them.

Jst throwin this out there, i have ****** Compitition full length headers on my bronco and there awesome, full length make more torque then shortys, only good thing i see about shortys are most of them bolt right in place of your mainfolds with no mods to the exhuast, with full length you have to take your exhuast off then put them on. So if you might have to run with your truck open for a few days till you get your mufflers.

So with your full length you have no problem with your tranny cross member? I thought I heard someone with that issue. Also, do you have the EGR tube or do you need it?

That triangular piece you're referring to is where the collector bolts on. That's a pretty universal design that most headers use (Older headers will sometimes have a square ****** but these days most headers terminate with a 3" pipe & triangular ******) To connect to your exhaust you have two choices. Oftentimes the length of the header will require you to cut back the Y-pipe anyways so you just weld (or clamp) the collector to the exhaust system and then bolt it to the header. The second choice is to check with the different manufacturers (or just call the catalog tech info line) and see if someone offers a collector that will bolt to your stock system like this: http://www.jegs.com/p/Flowmaster/752165/10002/-1/11535

Yeah, I got the ceramic Headman long headers one mine, the only issue I had putting them on was I had to drop the front shaft to fit it in. The driver's side went in from the top and the passengers from the bottom. Mine is a 84 though.

Emissions equipment? You mean that stuff I ripped off the engine day 1?

I PUT FLOWTECH HEADERS ON MY 85 WHEN I REBUILT THE 351 IN IT....THEY'ER KINDA SNUG ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BECAUSE OF THE FRNT.SHAFT AND IF YOURS IS LIKE MINE IT HAS THE LONG OIL STICK TUBE...BUT AS FOR LONGTUBE HEADERS THEY WORK GREAT....BUT LIKE REDNECK86 MINE DOESN'T HAVE ANY EMISSIONS AND FULL TRUE DUALS TO THE BACK CORNERS.....
