I'm thinking about putting undercoat on the whole floor of the inside of my 78. Anyone have any suggestions on which product to use? I remember seeing a post once on this subject but thought maybe someone may have some new ideas or suggestions.

Gosh, where to even start <grin> I did this once when I was younger and have never forgotten the experience. I would *strongly* advise you to not invite friends over to help you do it with two dozen cans of spray-on undercoating and a couple cases of beer. Having said that I think the best possibly option today would be to strip the interior down to bare metal with a flap disk and go see the guy at the nearest Rhino Liner dealership. There are a few others jumping into the Rhino-liner game so maybe you can find someone with a similar coating for less but I'd definately go that route if you were going to take the time & trouble to do the prep on it. The Wal-Mart stuff will come off & just makes a big mess, you really want something that's a professional-grade product and won't get sticky in the heat or abrade off when you shove something into the back of the truck.

Thanks Broncobill78, I have to say that is a great suggestion but I'm not sure I want to sink that much $$$$ into this treash heap. As I wrote in another post, this is my hunting/fishing rig that I only use close to home. I think I would rather spend that money on bigger tires and a coat of paint. You'll see what I'm talking about if and when I get some pics posted.

Thanks agin.

Sure, been there & done that. If you're don't want to shell out the $$$ for a rhino lining then I'd look at an epoxy paint. Well no, actually if it were mine I'd probably just strip the inside, prime it and then go buy some beer. Fact is that there really isn't anything short of a rhino-liner type coating that will stand up to anything more than rain so I'd really just hit it with the most durable paint or primer that you're willing to spring for and be done with it

Thanks again Broncobill78. I'll do some thinking on this. I did like the idea of spending the money on beer.
