My bronco seems to be "missing a beat" every couple of seconds. I opened the hood to take a look and noticed that right when it misses I hear an electrical snap, kinds like touching two live wires together.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eisen

Check under the hood when it's dark. You will be able to see what spark plug wire is bad or not connected very well.

You are describing a wire not firing the plug at all times and the spark is going into the block or very week into the plug.

You are genius! Thanks, I looked at it after reading this post and I can see spark light coming from where the wire fits over the plug. Will check it out further when the engine cools down.

Thanks!
