today i came home and my dad tells me that he herd a weird noise in the bronco, so i take it for a ride and i bring it to my job (car shop) and my boss went for a ride and he found that my drivers side rear leaf spring mount that goes onto my frame was completely broken off because the bracket was all rotted. then my boss tells me not to drive it for a while which sucks! but also that this weekend he will call up about some deals on some lift kits for me since he knew i was going to put one in soon any way and because we will be replacing all the leaf spring mounts, also because he says its a good idea to do it all at ounce and i trust him because he used to do offroad conversions and he knows his shit. so anyway i am looking at a procomp 6" kit with all the best stuff for $1723.86 and a BDS suspension 6" kit with everything for $2268.72 . the only real difference in the kits is that the bds kit comes with all new leaf springs while the procomp only comes with add a leafs. which one should i get?

Get the kit without new springs, and do the Sky Mfg. shackle flip with your stock springs along with some zero rates to re-center the rear axle.

I had the SkyJ Class II kit on my 84 about 3 years. No problems, but get the extended radius arms.

so ur saying i should go with skyjacker? also how is the ride and have you had any problems with it?
no problem at all with the 4" lift on the bronco. i did have a skyjacker leaf spring break and busted a skyjacker shock on my old '93 truck......however that was after 3 or 4 years of major abuse. i'm pleased with skyjacker overall and the ride quality on the bronco stayed the same after the lift was installed with no bone shattering or bouncing you out of your seat everytime you hit an anthill.
