well here it goes..ive had my eye on that nice ultra deluxe 4 in. lift from jeff's , but its like 900 bucks..i already have the shocks, and i was wondering if instead of the bigger leafs, if blocks were any good, or should i stick with that kit....truck already has 3 in. body lift and soon to be installed 36 x 12.5 -15 tsl's on 15x 8 rims and 4:56 gears front and back

Try a stay away from blocks if you can, They are a weak link and can be devastating to your health in the event of an accident.

I would recommend getting an add-a-leaf from the lift manufacturer of your choice, combined with sky manufacturing shackle flip kit. They give you 4.5 inches for $115.00, so actually for your 4 inch lift you wont even need the add-a-leaf. For all the people I have reccomended to sky manufacturing, I think I should get a free set.

Shackle flip

If this doesnt bring you to the correct page, locate the link in the left column that says (ford/dodge) Click that and scroll down until you see the rear shackle flip kit. They are painted green and red (just so you can identify them.) It appears that the price has gone up to 135.00 since I last visited the site.

thanks alot dude some more questions though...with that kit i shouldnt need anything else lift wise in the rear...also if i take loose the sway bars will it still drive fine highway and as a daily driver?

now for the rest what else should i buy to lift the front...coils i know for sure and i have a full set of 4 in. longer shocks...also do i need the longer ones for the back or should i use the stock ones?

and should i use drop down radius brackets...keep in mind im looking for drivablitlity and stuff and the occasional mud...

cmprice, noone relied to your question probably because you hyjacked someone elses thread, I didnt even notice that you asked a question until that other guy asked if you had been answered. Your question didnt make alot of sense to me anyways, but if you would like to get an answer post your own thread and I'll bet you will find what your looking for.

<_< We just installed a 4" system form Skyjacker in our 78 Bronco which included front coils, rear add-a-leaves, drop pitman arm, hydro shocks, drop radius arm brackets plus a bushing kit from Energy suspensions for the front end. It cost $640. plus we added stainless extended brake lines and a steering stabilzer steering for another $130.

There were other added costs such as u bolts and other small stuff but I figure it will run us around $900. One thing to keep in mind when you pull the front coils off depending on how much rust the lower spring retainer might be toast. Ours was on the drivers side living in the NE. rust did it's thing. You can get these from Jeff's for about $25ea but we fabricated one from some stock we had.

All in all it sits nice and rides 100% better than stock. I will have pics downloaded and post soon!

The install went quite smooth just a few busted knuckles and bolts. Sawz all is the best tool a body can own!!!!!!!!!!

The blocks would be fine AS LONG as your using it for ON ROAD ONLY!!!!Off-roading will cause your leafs to spit them blocks out like they were Beachnut.
