Thats why I asked before I posted, seemed to easy.

yeah well Ive been a little busy, and no, im not ********* it is not an automatic, its a manual. thatrs why i am asking. better to ask and and be on the safe side than mess up things worht alot of mulah. buty es its a manual and its a four on the floor. anything else you want me to loko at.

( Im only asking b/c my 63 land cruiser takes gear oil, and it is 90weight, so im a little unsure. )

I cant find anything for that year, I know they switched to ATF in some manual transmissions but I do not know what year they did. Since no one seems to really know here, crawl under your truck and clean up around the fill hole, might say there what to use. No? how 'bout the drain hole, do you have one? Remove it and see what comes out, even if its got water in it you will be able to tell if it is ATF or gear oil. My guess is that its still gear oil, but I really don't like to guess, put in a good quality synthetic and your on your way.
