HERE IS AN OLD TRICK BUT USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. PUT A SOCKET AND BREAKER BAR ON THE BOLT AND LEAN IT UP AGAINST THE FRAME RAIL IN THE DIRECTION OF ENGINE TRAVEL. THEN BUMP THE ENGINE OVER WITH THE STARTER. HAS WORKED FOR ME IN THE PAST BUT BE VERRY CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH ANYTHING OR HAVE THINGS GO FLYING. I WOULD USE THIS TRICK ONLY AS LAST RESORT

LOL....**** that was always my FIRST resort for that bolt. :-" I only had once where it did something bad and that was breaking the head of the breaker bar. Just make sure to BUMP it, not crank it. Be careful. [-o<

I've used a strap wrapped around the balancer ...lapped over itself to cause a bind.

The strap has a D-ring I hooked to a chain & wrapped chain around frame.

The harder I pulled on the wrench....the tighter the strap got..'til it popped the nut loose.

I HATE THAT BOLT WHEN I PULLED MY OLD MOTOR WE HAD TO USE A BIG PIPE WRENCH ON THE BALANCER (it was bad anyways) AND A REALLY BIG BREAKER BAR AND CHAIN DOWN THE MOTOR IT WASN'T AN EASY TASK...
