alright i drive a 93' 351w 5.8 bronco xlt and just recently my transmission has been dripping i thought it started after an offroading weekend....so i thought it was the gasket for the pan, i replaced that but then the pan stripped so i got a heely coil kit and recoiled the pan and put yet another new gasket but it still leaks!? i dont know whats up and now its leaked so much i went to move it and it wont reverse and barely will move forward, have i ruined my transmission by running it dry and is there anyway to fix that leak? any suggestions i need help on this one

how far did u drive it with out any fluid?!? a few feet it should be ok any more than that is bad!! how many miles are on the transmission? the 93 E40D trans had some problem once they got some miles on them so finding one from a 95 or newer would be better. also the gasket for the trans just needs to be snug. if u over tighen the gasket will crack and leak no matter what u do. i just changed mine and i used a fram kit with out any problems.
