I am looking for the original brush guards for a 1975 Bronco. I have tried online and can't seem to find one. There is one on a Bronco, Bring a Trailer (Lot #50236), but the seller does not know as he is not the one that did the modifications. I think Duffs or Duffys at the time, early seventies sold them but no longer. If anyone knows of a source I would be very thankful. Thank You!

it is called a "Cactus Smasher" and wuz a bolt-on over the bumper by K bar S in the '70s/'80s. Not sure of the angular one in pic above (later model?) but this one seemed like a continious pipe (used that roll cage pipe bender) to make. Is it "Regina" who looks for one to the 2nd gen bronk (78/9)?
Sometimes the right name helps in the search...
Go on over to CB the most renoun (started by "Jeff'sBGY" in the 90s) bronk site to locate. They want big bucks (in my world - I'm an ol timer like U) over there but will source 4 U.
That's for "parts Wanted"

Thanks, Chrisful, You are right about the Cactus Smasher being the tube type. The one in the pic is what I am looking for. In 1972 I bought that style either from Duffy (Duffs now) at the time or Bill Stroppe, as I also bought from Stroppe a padded steering wheel for my new 1971 Sport Bronco at the time. A little info on the 1971, I bought that Bronco through the Navy Exchange (Retail Store) and had it shipped for no charge to Subic Bay, Philippines. Once there I had a lot of high ranking Philippine officials wanting to buy it. I was worried about someone stealing it so I paid a young boy to watch over it at night. He slept on the hood of the Bronco.

during 1 of the BS 'bust cycles' our economy goes thru i used my car for income. I brought a local mini mart owner (trans national citizen) to his swearing in ceremony (10 yrs of class/exams & 1/2 his bank roll) for citizenship (3hr round trip, 1/2 hr stand time)... Askin "Y do U go thru this. What is the attraction?" He said "rule of law". (U paid some 1 cuz there was none). "If the bully on the block steals my rickshaw I can not go to the court & get it back. USA is different." I did not want to dissuade him of the concept as I see alot of theft going on w/the stroke ofa pen, court systems supporting things the common man would never go for, politicians and corporations pulling some unethical, illegal BS...

They don't know. Live here awhile and C da truth...
