how to set the timing of 351w

OK i messed up working on my motor.  i have a 90 bronco with a 351w, it has efi. i took the distributor out to replace the module on the back.  i replaced it and forgot to mark the distributor and now the motor doesn't even start. So i really need something to walk me through how to set the timing. i have a timing light. if i cain't figure it out ill have to take it to someone (really don't like other people touching my truck). thanks for the help.

Have to get the number 1 cylinder up on its compression stroke drop the dist in with the rotor pointing to the spot where the number 1 pluge wire connects to the dist cap. Done deal

Timing Adjustment in Ford EFI Engines; MIESK5 NOTE; Spark timing that is ******** from specification may increase exhaust gas temperature and shorten catalyst life. Refer to the following procedure for service details. a. Check spark timing. Check base timing with spout disconnected.

Set base timing to the specification on the vehicle emission decal.

b. Check computed timing with spout connected.
