xl custom

is there anything special about that model of the bronco.

mine is a 1992 xl custom. i know it has like one ton axles or soemthing like that.

It would truly be something special if it had 1-ton axles, since that was not a factory option. The Custom, Xl and XLT are just trim and options packages, with the Custom being plain jane and XLT the loaded model.

my first bronco was an xl custom and it had a stick shift and no frills at all. even had that mat stuff inside instead of carpet. it had the strait six 300. nothin special but it was what got me to love bronco's

I had a 1992 that was marked Custom on the dash and side plates (no XL) rubber mat floor with vinyl seats, 5.0, E4OD, AC, PS, Rear ABS.

ya same deal. except mine says xl on the dash and reads it as custom on autozone computers and such.
