Workin on tranny, (syncros) input please

Well, I have saved som money, and i need a new syncro mesh, but i was thinking that if i get in to the tranny i might look at my clutch and also just an overall evaluation. but...anyone know roughly how long it takes, im gonna buy a manual i think,. b/c i know roughly how to do it, but have only done one project like this, so i like to be safe more than sry. anyone have a rough estimation ofhow long of a time frame im lokoing at here.

Overall im gonna look at the syncros, the clutch and that should be all. what do ya think

It might help to know the tranny you're working on. To remove the driveshafts, t-case, tranny and clutch, figure 3-4 hours. You might do it all in half that time if you don't have any stubborn bolts, but don't count on it. It's always a good idea to replace the clutch and pressure plate together, if you have alot of miles on them (over 50K). Figure on 4-5 hours to clean & overhaul the tranny, and a couple to re-install everything. Should be an 8-10 hour job, or $500-750 labor on average.

oof. ill think ill do the hour wise, only cause i like keeping money in my pocket, ill climb under there and look, cause i always forget somehow, what type of tranny i have that is, ill throw an answer later on. thx man
