So against my wife's better judgment i purchased an old bronco 2 (84) from a guy for $900. Upon getting it running and such i found out there was a battery drain. My brother had a buddy look at it and we have now found out it was completely rewired wrong. Different wiring harness and wires that are not car electrical. The cars fuses were even bypassed with wires. What a mess. My bro's friend said it looks like the engine was replaced at one point in time. I am not even close to a car expert but i think i kinda got what i deserved for not checking it out. Is there still hope for this lil beast? It does have the 2.8L engine now. Not sure what the owner did before I got it but it is a mess.

Let me know what all you guys think. Should I part it out and try for a different one or see what can be done with the Frankenstein?
