My 69 Bronco has an electric set up with a motor for each wiper and it seems really weak and the two wipers do not sync so they will hit each other after being turned on for a few minutes. While the set up does work, it sure seems Mickey Mouse to me; but I have no experience with any other Bronco wipers. I had a 63 Scout with vacuum wipers and this set up reminds me a lot of how it worked ~ intermittent at best.

I guess the question is; what's the best option for wipers and where can I find it? Thanks for all the advise and help guys!

The blades shouldn't hit if they're the correct length.

Climet being the main factor....I keep my blades & arms in the glove box & have used them maybe twice.(independent electric)

The stock units work great but you still have to deal with the workings above your head.

My bro. in Cal. had vac. (supplied by fuel pump) on his '67 & they worked fine as I recall.

(I have no pers. exp. with vacuum)

Tom's has all three..., with the stock set-up being mostly used parts.

I like my stock 1975 wipers.. Now if a can mount it out the way of the cage I will be happy!

(A little more cut grind and welding and I will be good when it snows)(I really like too wheel in the snow) The best is when you start in the rain and end up in the snow through the sleet and hail... And get up in the snow and need too winch people out of your way, and tell them too go down so I wont have too push them outta the way too get back down opps forgot I dont have a front bumper anymore might have too winch them otta the way, or just drive around like a IRT hahaha!!! Ohh good wipers are the best!!

My '69 had vac wipers, which didn't work worth a flip. I debated on the individual electric motors or later model Bronce electric. Not long afterwards, I found a complete assembly on eBay, so I figured they'd just pop right into place. They didn't, the shaft holes were smaller & had to be drilled (no prob) & the spacing was different,so I had to shorten the drive arm, again, no prob. I'm perfectly happy with the electric. I understand that most folks who run the individual motors only use the driver side, so not being timed isn't a problem. Like Bully Bob says, if the blades are the right size, they shouldn't hit no matter.
