I have a 1979 Ford Bronco. it's the 400m 4x4. Just a good old ford Bronco. I was wondering what everyone out there is running or what they would recommend. What tires and lift are you using.

My bronco will probably be more of a trail truck than anything... not super deep mud, not too many rock climbs. So I am thinking around a 4" lift and 35's. So i am wondering what everyone would recommend for lift kits (Tough Country, Rancho, super lif, etc.)and what kind of tires.

Thanks for all the help, give me all the information you've got and why?

Welllll..,

It's kind of a personal preference, depending where you live & your intensions.

A good lift would have 11pak rear leafs & progressive front coils.

(oops.., check that, I think they're 9pak on on the '79)

A Bronco specific supplier would be prefered.

Check out Wildhorses4x4.com website for some ideas.

Looks like you'll need a gear swap in the pumpkins as well, with those big tires.

Have fun out there..... >:D< <'>

I am looking for an affordable functional lift. And again, just wanting to know what everyone is running, like what kind of system and tires you got on your ride?
