which is the front end of the leaf spring?

I took the leaf springs off my 67 bronco and didn't note which end was front. One end is standard eye and one end is mid eye. I think they are stock or old James Duff springs. Does the mid-eye go to the front?

"MID-EYE" would go to the rear...this allows free movement of the shackle.

The other way 'round would likely cause binding. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I would interpet "mideye" to mean.., the leaf intersects the bushing center.... B)
