Odometer says 62xxx but then I relized it has always read that since I got it a couple months ago! Strange the spedo works but odo doesn't. Anyway it was rebuilt two owners ago so I have I have no idea what it realy has. My last one was a 95 w/ 115xxx. I had a 97 f-150 w/177xxx and a 85 bronco II w 250xxx. I put a lot of miles on my fords!

According to the paperwork, the body and frame of my '89 XLT has 316,000. Don't know if the engine and tranny are original though.

I don't know how many gals post here, but I started looking through the posts and realized what a great resource this is.

I have an 87 w/302 5.0 with 426,000 miles on it (rebuilt at 111k). I've had her for 15 years and and she's getting old and tired. Bent spindle on the 4wheel drive, compressor conked out on the AC years ago and oil started showing up on the number 6 plug. My mechanic told me I had better start looking for a new truck. Been through too many starters to remember them all.

So, I've found a 94 original owner, completly dealership serviced with 156K miles for $2,550. It's real dirty inside hopefully nothing that a thorough detailing can fix. I see the potential below the dirt & grime.

My '95 351 is just about ready to hit 170,000miles. Original engine and tranny runs like a bear on steroids. It has plenty of life left in it.
