vibration won't stop

Need help. I am on my third carb from advanceautoparts. everthing was running good and then the vibration started. So far I have replaced the whole ignition system from plugs up even replaced the distributor. All the smog stuff was ripped of the only vacum lines hooked up are the vacum advance and the egr vavle to the carb. There seems to be a very small leak in the intake manifold but not enough to make it vibrate. The vibration is jarring at idle. The left mixture scew is no longer having an effect on the engine. ***? I just want it to stop it was running so good. Any ideas? :wacko: :wacko: :blink: :wacko:

Not sure what you mean by "vibration'? does the motor shake? Could be a broken motor mount. Does it idle rough? fuel, ignition or timing is off. Check the belt(s) and pulleys, too, for anything cracked or bent. I had a bolt work loose fro mthe alternator bracket that drove me nuts for a while, JSM84
