New Member here so sorry if I'm not following protocol in regards to posting etc.. Will learn as I go. I did search for similiar posts but to no avail so here goes. Hello everyone & thanks in advance for your input. New to Broncos & recently purchased 1971 Bronco - Half Cab. Truck was a 6cyl truck & now has the 302. Throttle assembly was not updated to the V8 assembly & previous owners continued to use the stock 6cy throttle cable/assembly. The cable was broke when I purchased so now I want to update to the V8 assembly. Not sure this will work on my firewall, see photos attached. When I've reviewed photos of this application the throttle assembly is adjacent to the master cylinder but as you can see in my photos that's not possible. Was the firewall on this truck modified in some way or is this a non-issue & I just don't have a clue? BTW the stock 6cy throttle cable is removed form the truck & not shown in the photo. Hopefully the photoS will help describe anything I've failed to include in my post.
Thanks!
