Are there any good sites out there that tell you what the color of the wires mean and that help you understand how wiring works on in vehicles. I want to start reading(other than haynees mannuel) about working on vehicles because the learning the hard way method is getting old!!!

If there are any specifically for for rangers and bronco 2s that would be great. I know there i diagrams in my haynees mannuel but i don't understand them my haynees mannuel sucks for wiring diagrams. The haynees mannuel has been my main source of learning i have read it 3 times!!!

Your best bet is to get an EVTM for the year truck you have. If you go on eBay and search for "Ford Bronco EVTM" you will get plenty of hits. The last time I looked they had a ton of ten for various year Bronco IIs. If you don't find one for your truck, contact one of the sellers and ask them if they either have on that is not listed or perhaps let you know when they get one. The Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual is a factory Manual and probably the best manual you can get for your money. If you are a serious wrencher you might also want to invest in a complete set of factory manuals.

The EVTM simplifies things by only covering one function at a time and not confusing you with a million crossing wires that have nothing to do with what you are looking for.

Good luck,

:)>-

A sample page from a 1983 Bronco EVTM. Note: the color codes of the wires are next to the representation of the wire.
