Hi,

My left front turn signal buld is staying on as well as the internal turn signal indicator. When I move the turn signal to the right it works fine, but to the left and no blinking.

I checked the front bulb and it is fine. Any ideas? Could it be the rear turn signal thats out?

Check the ground wire to the front bulb.

Is the rear bulb on at all?

Nope, the rear only comes on when I signal or put on the flashers. Through process of elimination I'm pretty sure all the bulbs are ok and the same with the flasher relays. One thing that is strange is when I put on the left signal the strip of relays next to the big fuse block under the hood makes a clicking sound.

Where is the front bulb ground wire?

I believe you open the hood and on the driver's side, inside of the radiator support there is a stud with a couple wires going to it.

Same with the rear, probably better pull the housing out and see where it goes.

One of your grounds are bad. Too corroded or rusty.

it is more than likely a short in the switch itself, they are notorious for going bad

Thanks guys. There's no point now, I sold it for $300. Between the failing XCase, motor, and now electronical systems it was just too far gone and I would rather put the money towards a truck that is worth fixing. I'll be lurking CraigsList for a few weeks waiting to pounce on my 3rd Bronco :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Where are you located? I cant find a gas cap off of a Bronco down here for $300.00. More than likely your troubles were in the multifunction switch. We have replaced those quite often (I am a FORD Mechanic). Usually the wiring backs out of the connector and no longer makes good contact. Just for future reference. --Vince
