Right now i have ****** Headers connected to a custom y-pipe then to a high flow cat then to a one chamber imco muffler with 1 inlet dual outlet.(Pipes come out after the back tires)

Headers-ypipe-high flow cat-imco muffler

Would it be worth it to have the pipes dump off after the muffler?

Is it even legal to have turn downs in Texas with a Bronco?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

it will ba a lot louder and you will notice it most when sitting a a stop or moving slow, the noise bounces off the ground and back up. On my eb it's to much if your doing a lot of slow trail running/ rock crawling yoou can't hear the guy sitting next to you. but it does sound nice, good luck

I've never heard of any State that regulated the design of the pipes, for the most part you need to simply have everything there that it originally left the factory with( cats, air-pump, egr, etc). Now in Mass you can't legally kick it out in *front* of the rear tires, the exhaust has to exit beyond the passenger compartment (and believe me, I argued that with it poking out the side 2" past the rocker panels I was satisfying the law. No Go) The only legal exception had been the Corvettes that came w/factory sidepipes. Even then, however, the made no distinction as to which direction the exhaust outlet pointed

well at the chance of being the total law breaker (and i know its not close t legal) but in tn. thier isnt a law i know of against turndowns. i havent been caught yet with no cat. converter, air pump, headers with straight pipes into 2 flowmasters and turndowns before the rear tires. its a risky deal but it makes awesome sound. good luck tho
