truck stalled and not restarting

        Today my 86 just stalled out of no where no spitting or sputtering just flat out shut off at a red light. I could not get it restarted once i got it back home I checked for spark and had no spark between coil and distributor.  Also checked power to icm and checked ground and all was good.  How do I know for sure if it is the icm or the pick up coil in the distributor.?
