HI, I am new here, however, I have wanted a first gen. Bronco since I was 16. My question is I have finally started to look for a bronco and I want a floor shifter but most of what I am seeing is on the tree, so what years were on the floor and if none how hard is it to convert to the floor? Thanks and sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm not sure when floor shifters were standard but I recently, did a Hurst conversion on my 69 and in all it took about 2-3 hours start to finish...in no hurry...relatively painless.

Did the kit include anything to dress up the column where the old shifter was? If not did you do anything to dress it? Thanks for the reply
