Personally, I would ensure the hubs were unlocked for the front tires, and, I would put the transfer case into neutral. I would also count every mile towed as a mile in the lubrication cycle, ie; 6000 miles of towed and/or actual miles gets a grease job to all the hubs, bearings, u-joints, rear-end oil change, etc... 6000 is an arbitrary number, your nuber may be less or more, but I would certainly tow it around...I recently purchased a '75 with three speed. I love the truck and want to tow it by tow bar behind my RV. Do I need to be concerned about tranny damage towing it this way?
