Tow Pkg?

ive heard about a "rare" factory tow pkg on 78/79 bb's...what is it and how do you identify if you have one??thanks >-

light duty towing up 2,000lb.

extra coolong package, wiring harness, HD flashers and emblem

heavy duty towing over 2,000Lb

light duty package plus HD suspension, 60 amp. alternator.

68 amp-hr. maintence-free battery

external oil cooler with auto trannt.

duel horns, oil pressure gauge and amp meter

bright recreation mirrors.

I believe the front and rear sway bars went with the tow package as well.

thanks for the info...i think i have it ,have sway bars,ext.cooler,full guages,i'll have to compare rear springs against another,of course alt. has been replaced(probly more then once.....thanks again /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
