93 Bronco XLT 5.0L E4OD Well first off my Bronco is only used for backroads, around town and the 4mi drive to work so I never took it out on the highway. If I had then I likely would have noticed a vibration in the truck at higher speeds. Well now the truck has the shudder when going up a grade at anything above 40mph. Its the classic torque converter problem that people experience. If I let off the gas or simply ease off of the gas the shudder goes away and it will also go away if I drive slower then 40mph. I was thinking of going with a lower stall to improve mileage but its hard to find any information on decently priced run of the mill torque converters with a lower stall. Everything appears to be performance units or higher stall units. Can anybody give me some information on where to look for something like a 1800 rpm stall thats not $400+. Thanks in advance
