Classic Roadsters II, Centre, MN is about to start making a tonneau style and possibly a full size soft top for the Bronco. They have their own upholstery shop that has been in business for about 28 years and have produced soft tops for cars as well as full interiors so experience is top of the line.

They are in the development stage of the tops, so it will be a few weeks before they are ready for sales (as of 11 APR 06).

They are trying to find out how much interest there would be in these.

They will be made of Haartz nylon material, a very high quality material used by some major auto manufacturers, and it would come with either a clear or tinted window. The top will mount using the existing hard top holes, so you will not have to drill any holes; the tailgate section will be secured with an industrial strength velcro, so no drilling will be necessary there either. The tonneau style top will cost $375.00, and the full soft top will be $500.00

Classic Roadsters II site is http://www.classicroadsters.com/

At present, there is currently no info on the Broncos there yet, but you can still take a look and see the work they have accomplished.

Please add your comments & any suggestions you have; I'll ask Bill from Classic Roadsters to look at them & offer more info.

I like the idea of the velcro system on the tailgate that is much better then drilling holes in the tailgate.

How about a fastback that secures to the original holes and the tailgate section has a aluminum crossbar that attatches to the ends accross the gate like a regular tonneau. No holes and no stick strips.

am thinking about installing one like that using a regular soft top (snap down) and using 1inch by 1/4 inch alluminum "strips" along sides for better look when top is off and across the gate secured on the sides so no holes into the gate ...... they have enough rust problems as it is let alone drillng holes into them for summer and snow/salt/slush going in them all winter
