Just talking out loud, but I am thinking about selling one of my EBs. I bought it earlier this year with the intentions of fixing it up, but I just haven't had the time or the drive to get to it. This is a 70 that is completely stock except the rear fenders have been cut and a newer stereo has been installed in place of the original. I would like to get my money back out of it if nothing else, but it has some issues. The title is clean, I called the city police & state patrol & had them run the VIN, but the last three owners never titled it in their names, so there is paperwork that has to be taken care of to get it straightened out. It needs both windshield & lift gate glass, the driver fender needs to be replaced as probably does the grill. The pass fender needs to be welded at the seam on the outside of the door pillar, I plan on doing that if I sell it or not. The tub is in fantastic shape. If I had the time and inclination, I would swap the tubs with my 72. I just don't. The x-fer case either needs to have the shifters adjusted or it needs rebuilding, haven't gotten into it yet, so I am not sure. But anyway, I am just thinking out loud and looking for other opinions. It is a strong 302, has 140k miles on it, but still pretty dang strong. I paid $1500, but if I get the title fixed you guys think I could get $2,000-$2,500 for it? I should at least be able to get the $250-300 it costs to fix the title back don't you think? Like I said, just thinking out loud.
