So im trying to replace my tensioner pully, but its so damn tight on there i dunno what else to do besides what ive been trying. i cant loosen the bolt holding it on there, i tried spraying WD40 and letting it sit then trying using my wrench to take it off but its way too damn tight. I even tried to take a short pipe and attach it to my wrench for a little extra leverage, but it didnt do shit. anyone got some suggestions?

thanks a lot guys

Link wrenches together. Put a box end on the end of the open end. You can do it with more then two wrenches if you have to. :)>-

Two things...

If you are putting that much pressure on the bolt, make sure you are using a six point socket.

You may also try heating the pulley and some ice to the bolt, then try it.

Good luck

Make sure you're turing it the correct way. The bolt is reverse threaded so turning it clockwise will loosen it and counter-clockwise will tighten it. It is opposite of normal bolts!

Are you removing the roller alone or the whole assembly/spring-arm from the block? I ask because I think the roller/pulley bolt may be bradded from the back side as to not ever come free.

I don't know for sure it could even have a reverse thread. Have you tried to turn it clockwise?

WD-40 is not the best for soaking stuck bolts anyway, try some PB Blaster it rocks. Also like mentioned before use a six point socket and breaker bar as to not slip and strip your bolt head...very important. If you can borrow an impact wrench that would do wonders too if you are turning it the required direction.
