It looks like vacume line to the front end. I may be wrong but I had one that lead to my rear end that did the same thing. I couldn't find were it pluged into so i just pluged it up so nothing got into it or came out. I don't think it will do any damage if you do it that way.

it is the front differental breather hose it needs to be high up in the engine compartment. i'll get a pic a little later. DO NOT PLUGG IT up it will cause your seals to leak when the pressure in the axle rises from the heat.

That kinda looks like a broken swaybar. I say this cuz it looks like it is bolted on with 2 bolts. I could be wrong tho (wouldn't be the first time and it prob wont be the last time)

Huuuuu are we still talkin about the bronco or something a little more serious ??? i feel a little uncomfortabe now i was just gonna say it was the vaccum line to the front end but , wow this seems personal now... lol jokin...

I sure hope you don't have rubber sway bars on your truck. :))

I know how you feel, after some light wheelin I noticed a hose hangin down by my rear dif, plugged in where the brake hoses were but obviously not a brake line. so I reconnected it and it makes sense that it was in fact a breather hose. What do you guys do to keep that stupid hose from getting ripped off, i've seen some relocation kits, but they relocate the breather filter, where does the stock line run to?
