Whats the different between a kit with rear blocks and one with rear springs and does either one make it perform differently?

The lift kits with blocks are easier to install, because you don't have to take the springs loose. I think the springs look better because you don't see the block when looking at the truck from behind but you don't really notice it unless you are looking for it. As for how they perform I have had both and have not been able to tell any difference. But if you go with springs you can get different spring rates so that's something to think about. Hope I answered your questions.

Springs are better. You get more suspension travel and articulation. blocks add to axel wrap problems and can get spit-out under heavy wheeling conditions.
