I got a 93 bronco with a 351. its weird, if i gete in it and take off when the engine is cold, it will die about a mile down the road. now if you let it warm up for about 20 min. or so it will only die about a third of the time. when it dies it smells like gas real bad likes its flooded. and it takes about five minutes or so to get it to fire back up. when the engine gets warm, the problem stops. ive already replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. i had the injectors cleaned, replaced the plugs, wires, distributer cap, and rotor. it still dies. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Check your fuel pressure regulator at the intake manifold fuel rail. Should be pulling about 34-36 in vacuum at hose on a guage running if I remember right.Check repair manual for specs. Sounds like diaphrapm in reg is leaking internally and flooding.

If you haven't already, pull any codes that may be in there. It could be the TPS (throttle position sensor), among other things. Checking for trouble codes is the best place to start.
