Hey there,

I have just purchased a '73 which is uncut & stock. I would like to keep it that way. However, it does need new tires and front shocks. Can anyone recommend a good tire and size. This little guy will not be crawling over rocks anytime soon.

Thanks,

Mike

Stock tires are 235x75R15...roughly 28x9. I would go with a medium duty shock, Rancho 5000 or comparable and you will good. The higher end shocks won't get used to their potential any you will just be throwing money away, unless you plan on doing some mod in the near future.

I swapped my tires for bigger rims and 33s so I still have the old ones. I don't know if you're interested in buying used and paying for shipping from TX to California but here goes.

The tires are Yokohama 235x75, very good all terrain tread probably 80%... nice tires (4)

The rims (4) are white wagon wheels 15x8 I think. Good shape but have minor scratch here or there.

I'll put up some picks if you're interested in making an offer. They're the right size for stock and look good if you like steel wagon wheels. I can throw in the stock size shocks for free (they are used but good), if I can find them.

Thanks.

Uncut and stock is cooollll!!!

I could be wrong but 31 in tires could fit and google (bronco parts) and you will find all you might need!

If its cherry or close too it make it nice if its a rust bucket cut lift and wheel!

Are ya looking for an aggressive tire or a street driver?

I have bfgs on the blazer(snow car wearing well), swampers on the bronco and nitto at's on the work chevy truck(they wore fast but i tow alot aka the bronco, work trailer)...

I lived in Hb too for about 6 years!
