Still Need 88' Bronco II Radio Wiring Color Codes

Thanks for the diagram from before, however it is not the same. The colors are all different...please see previous posting for the color of my wires. If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Again, we bought the book for our Bronco, but it does not have the audio/radio wiring diagram.~Thanks

All I can suggest to you then is get a diagram for the new radio and match it to the diagram for your old radio. Is the new one from a BII? If so, what year? You will need both EVTM diagrams to match the functions up. EVTMs are available on eBay by searching, "Ford Bronco EVTM".

I was kinda hoping somebody on here would have the info so I did not have to spend the $30 to get the info by buying another book. hhmm..shoot. I will look for another forum that may get a little more traffic. Maybe somebody on there will have the info..Thanks anyway

What they have on their website is exactly the same as what is in the book we already have. And, it does not have the radio wiring diagram/color codes. ~Thanks

Hello,

If you are still trying to do this, and the new radio is after market, why not spend tless than 30 bucks on the adapter cables available at any stero shop or good electronics store? That way you can just "plug and play" without cutting/matching any wires and make it easier to remove the radio later on if need be?

ok u may have 1 or 2 plugs for radio

also may have booster in rear quater panel

still have other radio did it have 1 or 2 plug-in

depens on type radio u ad in there

was it working ??

u can blow booster if u connected wrong

there 3 type of plug 4 type radio " am fm / am/ am fm casette/electronic premium casette/or was it cd if yes not original for that year

or 1 plug for power 2 speeker retangular one some have one 4 amps
