steering woes

just installed 2.5" lift kit on 93 bronco. and now when i turn one way and go to turn the opposite my steering gets real stiff. do i need a drop pitman arm. my power steering fluid and joints are all ok. if i do need a drop pitman arm does anyone know where i can get one for a 2.5" lift. or is something else causing this problem? please help

I would say yes, as most lift kits come with a dropped Pitman arm. But I would suggest watching the steering linkage while someone turns the wheel lock to lock, and watch for any binding or slack. Did you have the alignment checked after the lift?
