Squealling Muffler??

Hey yall,

About... 1 or 2 weeks ago i started hearing this squealing noise that seems worse when I went over bumps etc and at first i assumed it was the suspension somewhere.

I noticed though that the sound was coming out of my exhaust pipes and then today I went underneath and physically tapped the muffler with my finger and it made the squealing noise id been hearing. It litteraly sounds like a mouse squealing a few times anytime you tap it.

I just had a new muffler put on about... 1 month ago and am wondering what the problem is??

what kind of muffler.... it most likely was installed wrong or is defective causing that whissle

Flowmaster...im not sure of the # actually im assuming 40, my friends dad did it for me at his shop himself. He usually does really good work but who knows, i guess ill call him and let him know whats up

Maybe one of the hangers is squeaking??
