BC Broncos sells a really nice digital cluster that fits in the original opening. Around $550 though. But it is nice.

If you decide on refinishing the old one, check out the 'parts wanted' section in the classifieds in the forum. BitchnBronco refinishes them and has pics of them, including one with a white face that looks really good.
