So I had broncograveyard.com send me their spring catalog, and I found this inside:

I tried e-mailing them for some additional information, but never received a reply. Anyone else heard anything about this?

I know another company used to make them and they recently went out of business. I hope Jeff's does offer them "soon", I would love to have one!

Those tops have been discontinued for about 2 years now. Of course, you'll find that out if you try to order one. JSM84

yo!

When I get home, I'll confirm what a person @ Jeff's told me last year about them buying patterns, specs, etc. from STC (Specialty Top Company, specialtytopco) and possibly offering em for sale under Jeff's brand. Looks like the STC Fasttrac Zipper Top

Also;

for the heck of it now;

Fiberglass Half Cab Conversion w/Glass Slider - sold mold to Bronco Graveyard; per company e-mail message of 23 JUL 05 - Jeffs Bronco Graveyard rep. said the Bronco fiberglass half-cab conversions w/ glass slider should be available Summer 06, but has not done so as of MAY 08

The only reason I posted this is because it was their newest catalog at the time. I figured they wouldn't go through the trouble of printing a full page ad about the tops if they weren't serious about selling some (hopefully sooner rather than later). I know this is a horse that's been seriously beat to death, but they would probably make a lot of money if they could somehow get the patterns etc. from STC. I know I'd be one of the first to place an order.

I live about 45 minutes north of JBG. I was there last week to pick up my quater panel patch and I asked about the soft tops. He said that they were expecting them by the end of this month. They are made and are coming by boat from overseas and will land in CA. Sadly, it doesn't look like they'll be USA made. <_< I personally would have paid more to buy American - as would most I assume.

He said they will be very similar to the STC's. They aren't making the tonneau, just the full cab model.

Keep your fingers crossed - they should be here soon! They guy I talked to said they already had 60 orders. They are also making one for the EB's - it should be landing soon as well.

Looks like the search may be over soon! Maybe when they become available, we can get a sticky in the top of the General Discussion page. I think this is one of the most often discussed topics on here.

I would pay more for American made too. How do they have 60 orders already when I thought the catalog didn't have a price listed? Did I miss something?

its amazing that with the demand for these things they are so difficult to find. usually when there is demand there is someone right there to make some money off it. seems like we'd all like to have one of these things. or at least the majority of us. i wish i knew how to make them i'd quit my day job and set up a production line. haha

Yeah! What happened to American ingenuity? If you found someone who makes boat covers and boat tops they have the machinery to sew it, all they would need is a pattern.
