i recently bought a skyler top from the US to Aus from a 78bronco, but silly me i believed it would fit my 86 partly because he said it would. The side frames fit in perfectly, the back rails are in need of a couple new holes to match up with the 86 body. As with the top frame it needs to be bent straight to fit and new holes needed to be drilled. Anyway thats all pretty simple stuff that i can fix myself. What i need help with is the things that didnt come with the soft top. I am missing a piece of timber? that runs across the back to keep the water from pooling up. Also the clips that act as a safety to hold the top on. So a couple of piccys and maybe a few dimensions so i can fabricate my own would be great. A copy of the instructions would help too, as i dont know what size of the original velcro the top came with.

Thanks guys this forum is the best.

I just looked up Skyler. It isn't clear to me that the company still exists but here is a link to them http://www.skylercorp.com/contact-us.htm from the contact page. If they do, I'm sure you can get the information you need from them. I think I have seen someone else around here with that style top, but I'm not sure that it was a Skyler.

Just took another look and found that Justshootme84 has one. Here is his supermotors pictures. Give Randy a PM, I'm sure he can help you. http://www.supermotors.net/clubs/superford...33/7823#content

Good luck,

:)>-
