when i get passed 30 mph my truck starts to vibrate pretty hard, harder than my subs when they hit. when i let go of the gas it stops. any help?

Definately check the rear u-joint before you worry too much.

what do i need to check for on the rear u-joints if i need to replace them?

Look for play in the u-joint itself. Move the driveshaft around (try and wiggle it) and see if it moves at all. if it does you need a new u-joint. Repost your results and I will walk you through if you need a replacement. Also if it doesnt move have a look at all caps, see if there are signs of it being dryed up, u-joints need grease to live.
