while i am still fighting the damn shackle mount and now shackle and sping eye bushings i am pondering the shackle flip as i am about halfway there but what i want to know is how much lift would i get i already had 3 inches and 2 in the front (did not have time for the drop brackets and so on to go higher at the time even though i should have)

i would not recommend welding the bracket to the frame, you need to be able to move it to get the proper shackle angle. typically from a stock height, it will get you around 6" of lift, depending on the bracket you use (factory or sky manuf.) and the shackle. if you use the stock shackle, the 6" applies. if you use a belltech 2" drop shackle, however, it ends up netting you about 8" of lift in the rear. probably way more than you are looking for, unless you wanna lift the front

so let me see if i understand this if i use the stock bracket atached pretty much in the same place only upside down then using a f-150 2" lowering shackle i would get about 4 inches of lift

what about pinion angle and handleing as this is going to be my dailly driver once completed and the 88 will kiss the pavement goodbye for the most part
